Somethings the matter with my bloody Ships !

I now have only 5 cargo ships in the Caspian sea. I was some what counting on shipping supply to my soon to be cut off troops in the Caucasus. I have no enemy action to blame so it must be the Caspian triangle. What do I do now? I don't see how the ship loses can be 75% over 8 months in what is basically a Russian lake. Can't I commandeer some of the fishing fleet ? Maybe they are more sea worthy.

I think someone else raised your very same question, and one of the developer said that it's just the normal wear and tear of the equipment.

I wonder if any thing has been done about this historically the total loses were ZERO for the first year. I will not be playing this game until it is fixed.
