China- reasonable progress continues. Chinese losses are off the chart.

Northern Armies have finally linked with the Southern around Tuyun.

4 x Tank Divs are making the difference, combined with some infantry, heavy arty and liberal doses of medium bombers flying ground support missions.

I just hope I haven't left my run too late to seize Chungking.

Burma- after losing Akyab (not unexpected) this theatre should hopefully remain quiet as Lowpe pours additional resources into saving China.

A grace period here would be good.

Starting to fortify this area now from forces withdrawn from Ceylon and Burma.

Will be a hard nut to crack in another month.

Major area of action at the moment.

Both sides aren't committing major forces, more skirmishing for ground and tactical advantage.

Plenty of Fletchers are active here which is giving the USN a distinct advantage.

Waiting and digging in.

I think he strikes here first.

March 43- plenty happening but recent travelling has prevented posting.

A carrier clash finally happened on the PNG coastline, and the Japanese set up was beautiful. However, the results were decidedly underwhelming with only 1 x US Cv in any form of difficulty though another 3 were hit. No afternoon strikes were launched! :o

Total losses were 200 Japanese A/C vs 100 US. As expected, the A6M5b matched up very well against the wildcat but the Allied flak was devastating for the DBs and Torpedo a/c that commenced their runs against the US CVs.

Skirmishing between the naval forces continued over Wewak despite the withdrawal of the US CVs

And then finally an ambush that worked.

Not sure how much he will miss these babies but they all went down with engineers onboard.

China- next 2 weeks will be critical in isolating Chungking and extinguishing cut off pockets of Chinese.

Confidence is growing once again that the IJA can pull it off. The tank divisions and mass air support are the key in achieving the required outcomes.

Burma- Lowpe has pushed into northern Thailand and causing some mischief.

Not critical at this stage but some more reinforcements will be sent to bolster the Thais

Northern Oz- he is getting more active here but will need his CVs before he can push further.

Looking for opportunities to sting him hard if he comes up too soon.

PNG Coast Line- the scene of all of the action.

How bad does he want to keep Wewak? I intend to make the Allies pay for it.

Burma/ Thailand- Cheeky incursion into northern Thailand continues. Not sure if Lowpe is serious here and don't want to over commit as I move to bottle them up.

Majority of skirmishing and action is taking place here.

No sign of the US CVs since the carrier clash a couple of weeks ago.

Actively hunting down shipping making runs from Wake to Marcus with a modicum of success.

Probably should have been more aggressive here a couple of months ago but better late than never :)

Scoreboard- the good, Allied Army losses continue to climb at a good rate, especially amongst the Chinese.

The bad: nothing I can do about his base building points which continue to climb at a very fast pace.

China- I fear I will run out of bullets before Lowpe runs out of Chinese. Mass attacks occurring again with large doses of air and armour.

Regardless I need the points so the attacks will continue.

Darwin is in more trouble than a Russian T-62 tank in the Ukraine.

I need a tsunami to hit the port of Darwin to wipe out the 25 Allied units. I could live with the collateral damage.

Goodbye Darwin in about 2 days.
