A shoplifter which was not wearing any items of clothing (okay, a naked shoplifter) kept coming back and stealing candy. Only a few items were taken at a time. No arrest made nor any charges filed, I presume.

Another one that was naked came into the store, sanitizing the nose in the process, wandered around but received no service even though it was rather polite. Again no arrest nor charges filed, I presume.

Then, from last year, naked home invaders trashed this house with one of them on the counter with his face into a KFC bucket of chicken just stuffing his face with the chicken. Again, no arrest nor charges file I presume.

I mean, the audacity of those criminals and then, no arrests made or charges filed! The perpetrators should have been arrested, detained probably without bail since they would probably run away into the wilderness, live off of the land, and not voluntarily return, but at least they would have a warm and dry place to sleep with free food if they had been arrested!

What is the world coming to!

Sweet Pea likes catnip, she gets very mellow. She and her brother Harry used to fight over who got it first. But Danny Boy wants to take advantage of the situation even though he has been altered so he no longer has the equipment to do anything nor has he actually done it. So he gets on her, bites her, but that is it for him. She will scream and then attack him although this morning when he started allogrooming her, he started biting. She was having none of that so she tackled him. Oh, the fun started . . .

No, the claws are out for traction as they chase each other. Sweet Pea also likes to make biscuits as she kneads my belly with the claws poking into me.

It is bad getting older but it is better than the alternative.

"Bob and Rose are getting on in years, and their memories aren't what they used to be.
They make a visit to the doctor, who does a thorough check-up, before telling them that there's nothing to worry about, and that this is just a symptom of getting older.

"One thing you could try", the doc says, "is to write down the things you need to remember. Many of my patients say that helps."

Bob and Rose agree to try this approach.

Later that evening, after dinner, the couple are relaxing on the couch.

"Bob, honey," says Rose. "I'd love some icecream. Would you fetch me a bowl?"

Bob lovingly agrees, and stands up to go to the kitchen.

"Honey, remember what the doctor said," says Rose. "Don't you think you should write it down?"

Bob scoffs. "I think I can remember a simple bowl of icecream."

"But I want chocolate icecream. With caramel fudge sauce. And rainbow sprinkles. And mini marshmallows. Now, surely you can't remember all that - you should write it down."

Bob rolls his eyes. "Chocolate icecream, caramel sauce, sprinkles, marshmallows. Don't worry, I've got it."

Bob heads into the kitchen. He's gone a very long time, and Rose listens, concerned, to the extensive clashing and banging of pots and pans. Finally, Bob returns, carrying a plate piled high food - he's made an enormous breakfast fry-up, complete with eggs, bacon, hash browns, fried tomato and a small fruit salad.

Rose is furious. "You idiot!" She yells. "I knew you should have written it down! You forgot my toast!""

Everyone has those kinds of days.

But this restaurant server may have a discussion with his wife about a customer.

"One day a blind man goes to restaurant
The server asked him if he’d like to see the menu

The blind man says: “no, I am blind, just bring me a dirty fork and I will smell it and order”.

The server, confused, goes to the kitchen, and brings back a dirty fork.

The blind man smells it and says: “I’ll have the beef steak with mash potatoes and gravy and some chocolate brownies for dessert”.

The server brings him his food and the blind man enjoys his meal, pays the bill and leaves.

Next week, the blind man goes back to the same restaurant.

The server recognizes him and wanting to see how good the blind man’s sense of smell is, he goes to the kitchen and asks his wife, Brenda, for a spoon.

He instructs his wife, Brenda, to rub the spoon all over her private parts and so she does.

The server hands the dirty spoon to the blind man. The blind man takes a whiff and says:

“I didn’t know Brenda worked here”"

A rather misleading advertisement. To me, the advertisement implies that a person could get ten dollars off the cat food and the dog food if they buy two bags of each one. The Limit one offer appears to apply to just the cat food.

But a person only can get one ten dollar off either one or the other on the same purchase slip and not ten dollars of the dog food and the cat food. If I would have known that, I would have given cash to the person that I was with (her car) to buy the dog food while I bought the cat food. The food was going to go to the local animal shelter since it is a little cheaper than the normal, full price.

Grump!!!

But the road to the animal shelter was closed to through traffic with no directions for the detour. I am not familiar with that part of the town as I have not yet explored the area. I called the animal shelter and the person tried to give me directions but it was confusing so I said the heck with it. Too bad for the animals and the shelter should have insisted that there should be detour signs for the shelter.

Oh well, it is better to be pissed off than pissed on unless a person is into golden showers which I am not.

I mean, it is like the salesman who after a long drive to a small town, parked in front of a building, grabbed his luggage, went inside, then asked the receptionist "Is there where you check in?"

The receptionist politely said "No, this is where you check out. This is a funeral home, the motel is next door."
