A plea for more oil for Allies

I am not against this rule. In fact, I think this rule is good.

My only problem is that one single wrong placement, like chess, can doom all your transports if you are out of oil.

It took me three turns to understand which was the unit consuming too much. So, basically, I am losing India due to this...

With all the naval port blockade to counter, there is a need for oil each turn. And, come on, we are in April 1942. This is the month of the Doolittle Raid. Historically, USA had enough oil to do it.

I can do a Japanese first turn where UK will end up with this. Could you please put 10 oil points more in the UK pool so that UK cannot be blocked by a wrong placement please?

I think USA is fine. No need to change it, it is really UK that is the limiting factor.

Read about the USA oil situation in the early Pacific. It wasn't good.

Yes, I did say to keep the USA untouched. This is the UK oil stockpile that I would like to increase just a little.

I would have to do more Allied testing...

Keeping the UK low on oil was good overall I thought...there were a few times I wished for more oil but was for the most part okay.

I would be concerned if they got to much oil it would let their navy run far to early.

Early the Allies have to pick and choose their battles. You can't do everything, all the time, everywhere..... hey isn't that a movie?

I can't defend against every port blockade if this is indeed the goal.

I already played a few games as the Allies. They do not have an oil problem. They need to sit tight to pick and choose their battles.

They will not have an oil problem once the Noumea gambit opening is solved imo. Plenty of port blockade possible in this sector all coming from Noumea...
