Flashpoint Campaigns: Southern Storm is an asynchronous WE Go turn-based wargame set at the height of the Cold War, with the action centered on the year 1989, with a mix of 22 stand-alone and 14 linked campaign scenarios spread across three detailed campaigns involving NATO and Warsaw Pact forces from the US, France, Canada, West Germany, Soviet Union, East Germany and Czechoslovakia.
The renowned cold war grand-tactical wargame series is back with a totally new user interface and vastly improved and re-modeled gameplay and combat resolution.
The user interface is designed to give a deep, immersive gaming experience. It allows you to adjust your own UI layout over multiple screens, extra wide displays or single monitors. Many panels are dockable and their positions are saved for future games.
Map colors are fully customizable to better read markers and counters, Terrain and weather conditions also play a significant part in your strategy with Real World Weather sourced from official real regional data, units parameters such as readiness, ammo level, morale and overall capability are constantly kept under control through the use of the status icons.
The toolkit editor allows you to edit game data, create your own scenarios and campaigns, customize them with additional art assets and sounds.

. I've certainly got my own "wishlist" - Urban Combat (Defense of Berlin); Operational Phase Symbols/Overlays; North German Plain, etc. We shall see what gets implemented, I'm sure it'll be very dependent on sales. No-one is getting rich from Wargaming, but need some cash flowing in!
