Nothing, should be a bit of fireworks tomorrow, his Tank Division has entered a hex where I have a medium sized Chinese unit and the terrain is Sandy Desert. I should be able to hold, the causalities will be the question.
I have 650 more AV 5 days out.

Ground combat three hexes East of Kiuchuan, my causalities were a bit more than expected, I left
my battered unit in rest mode instead of either reserve or combat mode. They took all of the losses,
my main LCU is fine.

No attacks this turn. I wonder if he forgot to reissue orders to the 3rd Tank Division? Even though he won the battle by
destroying some of my devices, he did attack at 1:2 odds so the unit would have reset to defend.

Re: More Variants - The Allies ride again - No xargun please
Your troops didn't destroy nor disable any vehicles last turn so defending there will be unsustainable - unless you just want to delay him. I would march my troops out in combat mode if there is a rough/mountain area nearby.

Troops landed at Hollandia, which is unoccupied.
Troops landed at Aitape, they took some disablements, they might not be able to take the base right away, we will see.
In China, Xargun did another DA in the hex between Nanning and Liuchow. I think the die rolls went in his favor a bit.
But my losses were less than what is shown in the CR
so I lost 304 AV, which is what I have shown, 22 squads destroyed + 2 mmg destroyed, + 280 squads disabled = 304 AV.
The combat report shows I started with 1149, but my save game shows I had 1146 in that
hex when I ended the turn.
I didn't notice it earlier, but my fighters on my CVEs which are protecting the landing at Aitape shot down 6 H6K4-L Mavis transports.

7 guns disabled
7608 28th chinese Corps
18 rifle squads lost
2 mmg section lost
2 82mm mortor lost

August 6, 1943
No ground combat and no naval combat.
In the air, the Chinese had another good day. They shot down 11 Helen and 4 Ida bombers along with 4 A6M2 Zeros.
The Chinese did lose 2 aircraft, one air-2-air and one ops. Sadly a pilot was lost also.
I also have, in case of need, both Chindit brigades at Silchar along with 300+ C-47s and 30 C46A transports.
