How do you cancel a drop target?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

How do you cancel a drop target?

Post by MarkShot »

I know how to assign an initial target or retarget a drop.

But I see no way to cancel a drop, but for ignoring it, since the para troops are not impeded from doing anything else.

Is there an official way to cancel?

Thanks.

What I have done was to just not drop the airborne unit and or reassign it a new drop zone hex.

Someone in the WITE-2 forum expressed the opinion for the scenario I working on "West Wall" that the paratroop are better use as supported infantry. I think he had a point, and certainly they are elite units.
