There is a netplay mode to choose for playing MWIF with other people, who can be as far apart as they want, as long as they have internet connection. So there is no need for a lan (= local area network?) connection. IMHO MWIF is more suitable to be played by up to six people using solitaire mode and sending the files around.

There is a number of people who play Netplay, which is how the multiplayer was designed to be, in spite of some bugs and lately no tech support.

Although we are few, we are not a closed club I guess. For sure I am not.

I am now engaged in 2 MWIF games so I am busy at the moment, else I could be a possible opponent.

It should also be noted that Netplay is only for two people/pc's at present
