1000 hours Marine Corp and Vic

I have 1000.2 hour playing this awesome game. Just bought it in July 2022.
(Not really hard to do staying in a room plugged into the wall 90% of the time.)
Have all Vic's WWII games, my first foray into Sci-fi.

I am a Marine and if you know Marine's you know they use the "F" and "M-F" words as terms
of affection in a "good" way. Like your friend does something funny or whatever.
Its "effin whitey" or "M effer Johnny" it's meant in a good way, not derogatory.

This game has thrown me so many curve balls and surprises that I have said
to myself so many times " effin Vic " or " mother effin Vic" because I do not know
what else to call the "AI". But like I said, mean it in a nice way. If you know
what I mean. LOL.

I am still have not beat the game on the hardest setting and a lot of different
planets to play. Am also thinking of asking someone to PBEM.

PS... been looking at Distant Worlds 2 anyone have thoughts on this?

It is not what is said but the manner in which it is said, intended to be received, perceived, and interpreted, that matters.

I like DW2: it has an RTS component to it, you can do some configuration and examining things, nothing actually happens until you allow time to elapse, in 5 modes of time dilation, so it does not allow for being everywhere at the same time as in a turn-based game. It is a huge game as it is representative of a much larger scale of context, the scope being a Galaxy. I recommend you find out more about it to see if it is in your 'wheelhouse' of interests. DW2 and SE sort of complement each other in terms of scope-ness.
