3d Units are too small

Post by brotherofbuff »

I tried installing a mod i saw on the forum and still I cant figure out a way to make the 3d units bigger. They are too tiny. The game is almost unplayable this way. I even tried to lower my screen resolution and it still doesn't help.

Hi,

these games are based on the old John Tiller's engine with bitmap maps with fixed size. These maps are prettier than the ones which were done after (with dynamic hexes) but they offer only two sizes. The game should be deeply modified to change that.
What i do is to put my screen resolution at 1280x720 and i also have darkened the units color.
The zip files contains the units modified for Bull Run battle (FBR folder).
Even if it's far from perfect, the game is playable.

Hope it helps

Sorry for late reply.

I just seen this. Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately my laptop wont let me change the resolution for the program. Tech support tried to help me but couldn't. Do you know if the Napoleon game has larger units. I heard that before somewhere?
