Political Point Expenditure - PP for Officer Cards

When I play an office card I don't lose any PP points even though the cards have points on them! Anyone else seeing this?

I am burning officer points when I play officer cards. Each officer accumulates command points which are used when using officers command cards. I don't believe there is a PP cost for using officer cards.

Yes, I finally noticed the command point total on the officer window. What confused me was that it sates something about PP or political points.
