277 A and B

Current South Map & where I am currently at. I will continue tomorrow to finish off the top part of the Rovno pocket. I will then do Center and North for a complete turn one write up, “maybe” ;-) I don't have time to work on this tonight since I need to do the LW turn in the teams game.

A HUGE thank you for pulling this together. It would have taken a long time to develop let alone write it all down with screenshots so the community is very appreciative. It looks fairly impenetrable for the Soviets even if they know exactly where all the units are on their T1.

You are welcome, hopefully you and others can get some use out of my ramblings.

The weak point of this is North East of Rovno city. The Soviets just don't have the units to attack that area either. I would venture to agree with you on the possibility of a Soviet break out is next to 0%.

I do hope players realize that this set-up is a very heavy push into the South. If you are not comfortable of doing Center without 2nd Panzer then you will need to cut back on the number of Mobile forces sent to the south by 2nd PZ, which is very easy to do since I over committed here on purpose.

HLYA GC Step-by-Step walk through featuring the Full Rovno pocket

HardLuckYetAgain wrote: Thu Nov 10, 2022 10:35 pm Here is my step-by-step ground opener in a PVP game from beginning to end. I document every move, attack, HQ change, SU addition, and SU subtraction is accounted for the Grand Campaign turn 1. This thread will have a plethora of posts in the shortest detail. If questions, please ask away. Please give me some time to get this on the forum first though. Thank you for looking.
I have now turned this into a "FULL" turn 1 step-by-step for the German player. I shall be adding more posts and pictures finishing up the Northern part of the Rovno pocket, Center, and finally the North with all moves documented. Hopefully I should be able to load later tonight or tomorrow. Thank you for looking.

Continuing with the walkthrough I pick back up with the completion of the top part of the Rovno Pocket and begin work on the Center. Using 2nd PZ for the push in the South I will now need to pick up the slack with 3rd and 4th PZ. Lets get started.
