Task forces break off...
My ships fired a lot of torpedoes, but got no hits.
The only ship I have that might not make it is CL Birmingham. She has float damage of 90(58) with 10 fires, but her sys damage is only 31 and an experienced crew. She is in port at Ramree Island and might make it
if she can get the fires out and not sink outright.
During the day, Xarguns TF stayed at Ramree and some B-25G attack bombers made a call

The hits on the BBs did not penetrate, but some of them destroyed weapons, that will take time to repair.
Many of the hits on the CAs were belt armor hits and did not penetrate, but a few were deck hits and did penetrate.
DD Daitei is reported sunk and I did hear sinking sounds after the combat.
His LRCAP did not fare well, he lost 15 Ki-84r Franks( 14 air-2-air and 1 ops ) and 8 A7M2 Sams (5 air-2-air and 3 ops)
while I lost 8 P-47D2 Thunderbolts( all air-2-air) and 2 P-38E Lightning ( all air-2-air). 23 to 10 losses and my airframe losses were older models and
I lost 5 pilots, not a bad day in the air for me. ( I just started getting the superior P-47D25 this turn )
My air strikes against Toungoo were all scrubbed because of weather.
