Apr 28th 43,

then several more raids happen this was just the best one.

Afternoon Air attack on TF, near Truk at 109,112

Estimated time to target is 6 minutes

Allied aircraft

No Allied losses

Japanese Ships
xAKL Kanjo Maru, Bomb hits 6, heavy fires, heavy damage

so with may around the corner, my next invasions should be already ready I have 2 carriers that I need to wait 21 days till they can launch. if I want to wait longer for my two British carriers it would be 67 days but unsure if I want to wait for that long. but so far Perth and Darwin are my two main staging areas. my first objective will be to secure Timor with Koepang still in my hand I'll land lots of supplies and engs into the base to start building her up to max I'll land or para drops smaller units onto other islands to build up airbases to either bomb the oil field or take them for my self I'll need to see what comes first.

May 11th - 29th 43,

so these last two weeks have not seen much major action in Burma an attack was made on Rangoon but thus far the Japs have not decided to surrender yet.

Near Darwin Japanese subs with STO planes on them made an appearance sinking some minor ships and so far subs in this area have been a real nuisance I've sent several DD TFS out along with ASW patrols to hopefully sink the subs to make way for the rest of my carriers and amphibious ships on their way to Darwin.

in Sopac Sweeps over Truk met resistance atm it's too costly to waste lighting on this objective next month we get the P-38H and in less than two months P-47ds drop tanks activate and from having P-47s from Ponape and Lightings from Kavieng I should be able to clear out truck here soon.

my opponent decided to try and attack Rangoon bet met stiff resistance his bombers went in first and got massacred.
after that, his sweeps went in and reduced my cap he then had dive bombers attack and my flak massacred those as well.
currently, 2 CST AAs, 2 light AA, 2 heavy AA, and 1 AA BDE are stationed in Rangoon transport will bring in another AA BDE and light AA into the base over the next few days.

Jun 1st 43,

lots of new planes activate today

CW Hellcat 20, Dutch Hellcat 25, Aussie spitfire VIII 20, NZ Kittyhawk IV 20, P-38H 120, P-39N1 30.
ship wise I get 1 CV,2 CVE, 1 BB, 1 Ca, 6 DD, 2 DE, and 4 SS not bad I pretty much got a new CV TF with the combined CV, BB, CA, and DDs.

Also annoying but my opponent retreated out of Rangoon I sware it told me before they were encircled hmmm oh well I'll bomb them to death in the swamp hex and let my army rest now. Also with that in mind, the Burma road is reopened and an extra 500 supplies will be getting into china per day I desperately need it as I'm down to nothing almost.

So I took a save on the eve of my Guadalcanal invasion. looking back at it now I was super lucky my opponent failed to send mass LBA against my fleet and instead opted to use his carrier force and even after the carrier battle no LBA was in sight to sink my carriers. If he decided to use LBA then it probably would have significantly slowed me down as after the carrier battle both our forces were battered and i even chased him towards Rabaul and then Truk where he could have gotten me in the end he would have still lost Guadalcanal but he might have gotten most of my carriers as said above slowed me down. here is a comparison of the map from 7/29/42 to 6/01/43.

here in intel screen comparison as well

looking at the comparison my self I'm surprised at what I've done in almost a year.
