Hey~
Does anyone know if there is a TOE within the game (or outside)? I have not installed it yet, need to finish up current battle in RS, but curious if I could peek at all the toys I soon get to play with. Plus I like geekin' out over all the stats in stuff in an weapons encyclopedia
Applying Boolean logic to your question, the answer is a resounding "YES!"
Now, what's your real question?
Having thrown those rocks:
1. Our TOEs are part of the game. They are editable.
2. No, I am not going to email them to you or post them here.
3. I have invested a lot of my personal time in this area
a. Some is my lived experience.
b. Some is a whole lot of research through archives of data over the past 7 years.
c. Do you value my time? I do!
The game is (and I just ordered) less than 3 large pizza's (delivered). And the game lasts a lot longer than three pizzas.
Buy our game and get the data you want to geek out over.
AND...
You can DM me. We can have wonderful conversations about what got fielded when and where. Unit organization, structure, and those evolutions.
OK, all that aside, the question boils down to something akin to "how big is the engine in a Ford?" Well, car or truck? What model? When? That model name was and is in use for almost 60 years (Mustang, for example).
We use experience (I worked at a US Heavy Division HQs for a number of years and part of my work was with Force Modernization to field new equipment. I know how that works. I know US TOE stuff as a result), and multiple pen sources (which largely don't agree with one another).
The good news is the variation really doesn't matter when you get to the Player Experience we are delivering, which is commanding a battalion/brigade/regiment. I do get that folks will have their passions/interests that don't align with that. The good news is that we don't lock you into our world view in this area.
Hey Mike~
Thanks for the response and more importantly, thanks for your and all your teams hard work. Very much appreciated...and thoroughly enjoyed
I had already picked up the game, but was waiting to install till I finished up my RS scenario I had just started, (yeah, tad OCD I guess) but still wanted a "taste" of what I had to look forward to
It's all good. It'll be fun diving in and finding out...my own little treasure hunt
Congrats on the release, have heard nothing but positive things~
