Today was a bad day. Recently I captured Amani Oshima and start to unload lots of engs and nav support to be able to use it to replenish my bombardment groups for the invasion I plan to launch soon into Kyushu. well Andy sent in he said 150 ships to destroy what ships i had their I ended up loosing 8 CVES, 3 BBs, 12 DDs, 6 APAs, and a few more ships not terrible losses but they hurt his DDs still pack a punch at night he ended up loosing i believe 6 DDs, 1 CL.

so here is my first initial plan for invading Kyushu I want 3 different landings one at Kurume, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima.
2 of them are clear hexes while one is a rough hex. The main idea is to land at the two hex next to Kumamoto which are the other two bases to slow down reinforcements. While I land the bulk of my strength on this hex bombard it and air bomb it daily until I can succeed in taking the base from there I'll branch out.
I'll probably try to talk to all of Kyushu before moving on to the Honshu but then my next phase will be to land on Honshu itself at base Iwaki, Sendi, Hachinonhe, hopefully by this point his air force is in taters and most of his strength is blocking me from trying to enter Honshu from Kyushu.

starting today I'm sending out groups of dd TF to raid bases along the coast i want to invade to reduce his torpedo boat presence.
Today I also decided to go big I plan to launch my invasion in about 2-4 days and Osaka had around 2k planes in it I sent all my fighters on sweeps and bombers to destroy the airfield.
my bombers go in first but I got one small raid with an escort then a large one.

These are only a few of the raids but 1800 planes were destroyed today.
a massive blow as it will take several days to weeks to replenish those losses and my nav invasion launches in a few days so
starting today I'm sending out groups of dd TF to raid bases along the coast i want to invade to reduce his torpedo boat presence.
Today I also decided to go big I plan to launch my invasion in about 2-4 days and Osaka had around 2k planes in it I sent all my fighters on sweeps and bombers to destroy the airfield.
my bombers go in first but I got one small raid with an escort then a large one.

more DD sent to destroy torpedo boats on the coast.
sweeps over Oita as a considerable 600 enemy fighters were gathered their 300 more enemy planes destroyed.
it's time to launch my invasion his airforce is in taters after my last week or so of consistent harassing his Surface fleet is also hurting 40 ships were spotted in Hiroshima today I hope he doesn't move them as my entire bomber force is going to visit the base tomorrow to hopefully sink what's there.
all these ships will be put into TFS this turn I still have about 70k troops arriving into Naho over the next 3 days but they'll go in as a follow-up invasion I still have 4 divs and 1 combat RGT left in Manilla due to insufficient troop capacity to still invade so I might wait for those before going in with te 70k troops. but that's at least 2 more weeks away as I need to wait for troops to unload and for transports to get back safely.

DDay will commence next turn but this turn I cleared out more torpedo boats from bases I'm going to invade and decided to wait on the Kurume invasion.
Also, I hit Hiroshima port today only LB was found in port some MTBs a DD, and a sub as well but otherwise not a worthwhile raid.
