Unable to open the game name log file

I just hot patched to 5. My game works fine locally. I hot patched a friend to 5 and when we start our game he gets "unable to open game name log file..." any ideas?

ahh this may be my fault! it usually is! I have a bunch of licences, and I gave some licence numbers to friends. When I reinstalled I may have used the same reg number as my friend... anyhow... it's an idea

Could be a side effect of the changes for the AI. There's not much else different in version 5. Why not try reverting back and see if the problem is still there.

Fixed! just moved out the record logs to a separate folder
