Convoy Glitch

In my current ELO game 386384 it is December 1942. All Allied Convoy income has ceased. There appears to be no enemy activity responsible for this.

At such a crucial point in the game this is potentially disastrous for the Allies.

Is it something I have done inadvertently or is it a wider problem?

I'm afraid that's a normal game mechanic and I caused this intentionally:
When either the source or target harbor (and potential respective backups) fall below 5 points, the convoy shuts down completely until str 5 is reached again. I was already wondering why you didn't protect your GB harbor at all...

So quite the master stroke from my opponent and one I was quite blind to. Live & learn.

But from a game / realism point of view - seriously?!! The UK has 6 major ports and 4 other ports. Only 2 are damaged. And suddenly every single incoming convoy from around the world is lost? Now it could be that no-one has ever done this before. I've certainly not read an AAR report where this has come up. But the loss of MPPs is huge.

Surely if Glasgow & Liverpool are damaged the convoys should just divert to the next nearest major port?

Please change this gentlemen. Seems daft to me.

I was messing around, trying to halt the Norway convoy to Germany. It usu goes to Bremen (west side of Denmark). I destroyed Bremen port, so it diverted to Hamburg. I don't know how many alternates there are for any given convoy lane (and maybe in your game, you've confirmed that there are only the two destinations for Britain for Liverpool and Glasgow. I presumed, it would roll to any available port; maybe not.
