FPSS Colored Counters Mod

If you get bored with original counter's art style in FPSS, now you can try this mod to improve that!
I had made about 240+ colored counters in game, and may update it slowly in the future...

All original pic materials used in this mod are from:
1. Tank Encyclopedia: https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/
2. Airliners: https://www.airliners.net/
3. Another websites if cant find any suitable pic in both above sites.

How to use that:
Download the attached file, unzip that then put it all into fllowing path:
..\Modules\Common\Data\Common\Custom

P.S: Personally, in the units inspector I might put a real photograph, not a silhouette.
There would be more variety.

Great job! I'm also happy the game's "silhouette halo" works nicely with your colored counters.

Suggestion:
These colored silhouettes only display correctly when players use the default 'Black on White' unit counter color scheme. You may want to inform other players about that in your first post here, to avoid confusion / disappointment when they don't immediately see your colored counters.

Question:
Did you run into any problems creating these silhouettes? Any suggestions, that would make it easier to create and add silhouettes?

Looking forward to additional counters.

One question:
I found that the relationships between units and their associated image files is stored in a same datafile together with other data.
It's not good since if I would like to modify some relationship between pic&unit, I have to change the
orginal database. but as you know, these changes may cause conflict with offical database's update.
I suggest that you can separate the data representing the relationship between images and units into separate files.

Since the Modding docs are still in work, The datafiles contain the filename for the images, and changing that for new images is not a good idea as it can break things for users. What you can do and what we provide is a folder called Unit images in each nation's data folder. Place your custom images for each nation here, using the same name as they have in the game data, and the game will use these first. You can also include additional pictures (not counter sils) that can be seen in the Subunit Inspector by adding those into the Unit Images folder as well, with a "-S" added to the name of the image and using a BMP format. See my pic below for an override for all T-80Us in the Soviet national folder. These are located in Modules/Common/Data.

Don't be too hard on yourselves, folks! As an example, it took WiTE2 several months to get full editor functionality. And not complaining - they could have blown it off, but to their credit, they did not.

So not having all the mod docs yet is not a big deal, imho. The game as a whole seems very stable, including the editor. So, great job!
