Double hits (vehicle and infantry team) by ATGMs on dismounted units

My dismounted (Leg movement) mech infantry units in ASSAULT movement suffer double hits (knocking out both the BMP and the infantry element) by ATGMs (!) on a regular basis. Is this working as intended?

Same goes for dismounted BRDM scout teams in DELIBERATE move.

When dismounted (either when static, or on the move as a leg unit or during the dismounted final hex move) a single ATGM should target the vehicle, and a hit on that vehicle should not kill passengers (as there are no passengers when moving dismounted.

To rule out that the dismount kills don't result from additional weapons (auto-cannons, MG's) being fired at dismounts during the same engagement, I'd appreciate a save game that will result in the above problem.

What kind of save do you need? The save of the turn when it HAS happened (in the replay). Or the turn before it happens (there might be some random variation)?

Does the pop up only mention one weapon system per fire action even if multiple weapon systems have fired?

The combat hint will mention all weapons used in an engagement.

As for saves, usually want the turn the effect is happening in, but we can take both.

On closer inspection, I think it's because several ATGMs are fired in a single fire action, often resulting in a vehicle and an infantry kill. So I guess everything is fine. Here is a save file:

Take a look at 5:14 (unit 5/239 RC suffers a BMP and an infantry loss by an ATGM fire action). But two ATGMs have been launched.

At 5:18 (unit 4/239 RC) more weapons were fired, resulting in two kills also. But that's fine.

At minute 5:19 everything seems fine (5/239 is destroyed by two separate fire actions, killing the APC and the infantry subunit separatedly).

Okay so bear with me, this time it was fishy.

@ 5:14 5/239 RC (dismounted) loses BMP and infantry subunit to a single ATGM!

@JacquesDeLalaing, We need both files in order to review a saved game. The two files are the .sav (which you sent) and the .sav.blr file of the same name. We can't open a saved game without them. I recommend that you zip the together.

I did see a case of a single hit taking out both the transport and dismount. We will look into this over the holidays and hopefully have a fix for the January update.
