Empires in Arms is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. Empires in Arms is a seven player game of grand strategy set during the Napoleonic period of 1805-1815. The unit scale is corps level with full diplomatic options

zero point error

I would love to play this game i purchased a year ago but get this error every time i load it up on the opening screen. At this point i have to controll deleate to get out the game and hope it dosnt crash my computer. which i does half the time. I have done a complete reinstall as an administrator and used xp 3 package compatibility. are there any other fixes please.

Maybe check your screen resolution and set font scaling back to 96 DPI. Should be 100% and not customized larger or smaller. There were complaints about this years ago and that seemed to be a fix. If that doesn't help, please contact Matrix tech support so they can advise you based on your system configuration. Good luck!

Alright, is this what you're seeing? I went to Display Settings and changed my scale to a custom scaling of 125% (not recommended). Note the increased font size on the opening screen for text.

To fix this, left-click in your windows screen and go to Display Settings. Then change your scale back to 100%. You'll have to log back in for changes to take effect. If this is NOT the problem you're having and this is NOT a solution, then please go to Matrix tech support for further guidance. And if that's the case, please come back and let us know what tech support says is the problem and solution so we all know. Hope this helps. Good luck!
