I resigned in our current PBEM game as the Allies. We are going to start a new one when the new patch comes out. Will that be before Xmas? Hopefully the change to the Russian tanks and mech in April 42 will make a difference. Thanks.

Are you switching sides with your friend? Is he more successful with the Russians?

This has the advantage to learn to Allies player to use their fleets to patrol an area.

No, we are going to stay with the same sides. The first time we played we were past December 41 when the change to conversion of rail and the automatic winterization of the Siberians. The Russians were also at 30% and their mech/armour did not have 7 operation points until October 42. While we wait for the upcoming patch we are playing WPP which has turned out to be much closer than our WP game.

So we can start our new game of 1939 Campaign Small Fleet now because we won't be at April 42 for quite a while. I saw this fix in the "upcoming patch".

FIXED 1942-1944 scenario ZoC costs

I was playing around with a 1939 Campaign Small Fleet hot seat. When I moved one of the German tank corps in Poland adjacent to a Polish army there was no ZOC cost. I have attached two screenshots and you can see that there are actually two Polish armies and a cavalry corps..

We encountered this issue in our previous PBEM game in Russia after the Axis invaded.

Warning, I am not sure the new events will be taken on the fly when the new patch is coming.

Looks like this issue:

Could you please reply in this specific thread how you did to reproduce it?
I fail to reproduce. But it is there for sure.

There seems to have been a battle in the hex (diagonal bars inside), hence the ZOC is canceled from the hex for the rest of the turn since it was vacated by combat. Seems to be working as intended.

Oh yes you are right, I did not pay attention.

Ok, so I learned something. I thought when one of the attacking units advanced in to a hex, it only paid the terrain cost. In the bottom screenshot the German tank was not involved in the attack on the hex it move in to so I thought it paid the ZOC cost. Thanks.

That is a pathing issue. There is a 3 hex path of blitzed hexes to that location. The line icon put it incorrectly.

Thanks a lot. I never know if your patch notes is for the engine only or for the scenario too.

If there is enough time, you may also consider these few items:

This looks really good. I'm going to come back and play a few games once the patch hits.

Still really exited for WarPlan 2.
