The BV 138C planes never fly navy patrol missions , only the KGR806 JU 88 s do fly missions
Maybe i do something wrong or is this a bug?

They are recon planes. How exactly they help with naval patrol is a bit of a mystery, but they are basically deadweight as far as I can tell - every time a "naval attack" where only BV 138Cs fly by themselves there is 0 naval interdiction generated. Only the Ju-88s of Fliegerfuhrer Ostsee actually do anything.

Ju-88s and He-111s with LMA or LMB mines are all that you need.

The BVs are Patrol aircraft, and they can fly naval patrol missions. They are small units so maybe you are setting up things somehow that prevents them from flying. Just creating a naval patrol mission for them on turn 1 where I didn't change any settings and they fly naval patrol for me. If they've taken damage they may have too few a/c to fly, but would need to see a save to know why they aren't flying for you.

The -1 is because it is logging the losses in the "utility" section for these patrol aircraft, but showing them in the "bomber" section for the number that are flying. That's a known bug in the display. Look at the battle details and the air losses and you'll probably see one lost.
