Today is last day of the year... and it is +18 degrees Centigrade (64.4 degrees Fahrenheit)... sunny day just like late Easter in spring... and normal for this time of the year is around 0 degrees Centigrade (32 degrees Fahrenheit)...

I know this is no comfort for all our Thread brothers across the big pond who suffer big freeze (and few Europeans in the North as well)... but to all of you I wish you nice New Year's Eve!

Mimicking us Belgians ? January 1st, nothing works. I remember a year when the computer system of the police died at midnight, on my watch (when I was prosecutor), and they could do nothing. They had to write all notices by hand…. Thereafter, it was the quietest night ever, they were too busy writing to go outside the police stations. :D

In 1976 I built a scale model of the Alamo for the New Jersey state history fair. I received 2nd place out of 1000's of entries. Proud moment....GP
