What does this error mean? (Turbat Incursion, 2025)

Post by Mgellis »

Help.

I'm working on a new scenario, and when I created a delta ini file, I got the message that there were errors in it. I opened up the log file and found this information, but I have limited experience with programming, so I am not sure what this means or how I am supposed to fix it. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!

I have gotten this too. I tried to add a DECM pod to a magazine and it said that.

I assume it means if the sensor is actually a group of sensors (in my case, the load out is a single pod but it contains multiple sensors) it won’t work in the INI file, whereas a simple radar pod would.

I don’t know if this is an actual error or not, because when I tried updating the DB for the scenario that had the issue, nothing appeared wrong- the sensor pods were there just fine.

Perhaps it might be a different issue for a sensor suite like the AN/SLQ-32 vs. an addon pod?

I have been getting that error in the ini files in recent updates. I have run a bunch of tests and so far the error doesn't seem to impact the execution of the scenario.

It's not really and error, it's a warning as it says, and in recent years I think perhaps a superfluous one, that you'll get when you customize units, particularly sensors added individually 99% of the time it should not be a problem, even if you have everything added that is part of a group, you'll still get the message - which you can ignore, never had a problem ...that I know of anyway, so I reserve the 1%. ;)
