When did you last see the Free French?

I have asked this question before. In my early games as the Allies I would often see 1 or more French units outside of France become Free French on its surrender.

I cannot remember the last time a unit became Free French. Often I have the Engineers, Special Forces and the Fighters available. Is this feature broken or have you seen a unit become FF in a recent game?

There's been no change, but the chance of a land or air unit becoming Free French is pretty low, just 20% if Vichy France is formed.

I'll be reassured when someone else responds to confirm the Free French have appeared in a recent MP game

20% is quite a high probability.

I used to get at least 2 Free French, the engineers which I ship to NA, and at least 1 unit in the UK I used to keep the SF unit and fly the fighter and Tac bomber over to the UK.

These days the only unit to which seems to go Free French in the engineers in NA.

Apart from the Free French light cruiser, and the 2 colony units which are scripted

I just did a hottest test. Moved everything to England in France. Got 2 free French corps. Didn't get an HQ. Percentage is so low there is no point in moving any units b/c you would have to move 10 to guarantee 2.

Free French units gets usual French units once the last French captial is liberated.
If Germany takes it back the units ususally get lost since they will convert only with 20%.

Should this happen or should the units which were already Free French not be checked again if France is
lost for the second time?

I am reassured that this can still happen. My last opponent retained the French tac bombers!!

Well, in my recent match with Fafnir he got the engineer, the fighter and the marines. But his rng was absolutely crazy the entire game.
