New ELO game begins:

Moonchild (Allies) vs petedalby (Axis)
Allies resign in July 1943. Moonchild is relatively new to PBEM but showed he is a fast learner and plays at a good pace.

ELO game ended.

Tyronec (Allies) defeats JohnB (Axis).

Although the game was essentially over by mid-1943 officially Tyronec dug the Germans out of Berlin on June 30, 1944. Tyronec played a great game and really thrashed me. My main problem was China. I basically had to give up mainland China by 1942. No matter how much I tried I just could not get any good attacks with the Japanese (in my other games as the allies the Japanese are all over me so I'm clearly missing something fundamental). There was an exciting naval battle off of Singapore in early 1942 where the IJN sank most of the British carriers only to have the American fleet show up behind it the next turn and sink all of the Japanese fleet. The Germans played a pretty standard game and had the Soviets in a bit of trouble in 41-42 but ran out of steam by 1943 and had to run home to defend against Allied invasions.

And my warmest thanks to petedalby for his support, tips and advices!

So far, I find SCWaW multiplayer to be very enjoyable, with plenty of areas that could benefit from adjustments and changes. Hope the game developers keep supporting and evolving the game!

sappershade (Axis) vs tyronec (Allies)

tyronec wins, Axis got slowed up in France and there were still some British left there when the Soviets joined in.
The lark, signing its chirping hymn,
Soars high above the clouds;
Meanwhile, the nightingale intones
With sweet, mellifluous sounds.
Enough of Stalin, Freedom for the Ukraine !

[ELO Ended]

ThunderLizard11 [WIN] (axis) v. Rudolf Steiner [LOSS] (Allies) - Axis wins by default as Rudolf Steiner ghosted match with no moves for a over a month. Axis was crushing Allies with France falling early and China taking a beating.

ELO Games ended
kaigab (axis) vs rookey (allies). kaigab (axis) wins after successful barbarossa.

Great game by rookey, i won but because i think it is still a tad too easy imo the war in the east for the axis as the game is currently. I have the same issues whe playing allies.

My ongoing ELO games:
kaigab (allies) vs rookey (axis)
kaigab (allies) vs Petedalby (axis)
kaigab (allies) vs Jackmck (axis)
kaigab (allies) vs ThunderLizard11 (axis)
kaigab (axis) vs Judgementday (allies)

ELO Games ended
kaigab (allies) vs Petedalby (axis). Petedalby (axis) wins after successful barbarossa.

Petedalby really kicked my ass in this game. Axis went for NA with airpower and 2 tanks if i remember correctly, steam rolled Allies which lost also middle east.
Allies retreated to Sudan to try to make Axis bleed as much hoping to help Russia facing a weaker Barbarossa. However this wasn't the case, or better, weaker barbarossa meant in '41 axis didn't take anything beyond Rostov and Smolensk. However, in '42 axis had maxed out air power and tanks and went for Moscow and SU was losing 4/5 unit per turn. Allies decided to save units to defend Perm which was going to fall within '43.

In '43 i surrendered as there was no way to avoid SU fall nor allies were in a position to mount a strong DDay in '43.

Still thinking barbarossa is a walk in the park for the axis in this game. If a player properly plans supply and max out air power and tanks, not really anything SU can do to hold in decent shape in '43.

game ends

[WIN] ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) vs ThundarLizard (Allies) --- Didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Well, actually I did. Japan/Germany was able to bribe DEI to join pre-war. Enable easy blasting of Singapore and PH. Japs were able to battle India, at least helping the Axis cause. Took the usual Russian territory and dragged down the Reds MMPs.

Germany had success at Sea early on. Swatted some RN. Not critical, but helps running Subs around the globe. Russia held on, until late 1944. With Suez in hand, that was it

Yanks didn't have their A-game, were rather passive. Don't think ThundarLizard was his usual self.

Game Completed (Win) 8/16/22 to End 10/2/22 kjgokc2007 (Allies) vs Thunderlizard11 (Axis), two and two the tie breaker! Pulled it off... 1947 was just too long for Germany to hold out alone. Very good game. Thunder is very good.

Game Completed (Win) 9/17/22 to End 9/30/22 kjgokc2007 (Allies) vs Moongaz3r (Axis), New Blood! Moongaz3r is very good! Watch out! He came within a few turns of winning the game... Lucky for me the Allies held him off long enough to take out Japan and save the Med! Got Lucky!

Game Completed (Win) 11/18/22 to End 11/27/22 kjgokc2007 (Axis) vs Judgementday (Allies), Brother vs Brother! Excellent Game, typical in most respects, excellent Naval play. Took a few questionable choices on decision events that probably helped turn the tide.

ELO Games ended
kaigab (alies) vs rookey (axis). Allies surrenders in late '42 with NA close to be in Axis hands, Russia on the usual timetable (stalingrad and caucasus taken by axis in summer '42, Moscow on its way to be conquered on early 43 and then Perm in 44.

Russia in this game is really a joke.
