Advice on posting a mod for downloading

Hi - I would be grateful for some tech advice on the best way to post the latest update to my Icarus mod in a way that any reader of this Forum can download it. What free program(s) could I use and are there any security issues to consider, either for myself or for users who wish to download it? I think it is time to open this mod up to more users who may prefer not to have to email me to get the files.

I would say any file sharing service should do the job, things like Dropbox, Box, Mediafire etc., where you can upload the files to the cloud, and then share a downloadable link after that.

Many of these offer free service use up to a certain file size, which should be more than enough for the size of these mods.
