About to give 'Day Bataille 5 - Yen Cu Ha' a go as the VM and see a tip in the scenario's description to use white phosphorus but I don't see anything in the manual about what it does.

So, what does it do?

It's mainly for appearances, to display a more distinctive explosion graphic. (We have plans to improve explosions and other animations in future.) It also designates a Heavy Weapon.
