Campaigns on the Danube Web Site Open

Frank Hunter's Campaigns on the Danube is an operational study of the campaigns along the Danube in 1805 and 1809. Campaigns on the Danube's system focuses on trying to present the player with the same sort of decisions placed on their historical counterparts; how to feed an army and move that army according to a plan, all the while trying to fight a campaign. There is also an option to allow players to play out the battles with miniatures and input the results.

What are the changes from the earlier edition of the game? If there is significant change, I will probably purchase it, since the current game is excellent. Thank you for your help.

Nice! The more I see of these games, the more I wish I didn't have bills that waste my gaming money. [:@][:@] [:D]

Check out those screenshots! Fascinating - and I'm not overly impressed with graphics. They remind me of the Clash of Arms board games.

OK, it is the 8th!!! Where is it??? [:D] Sorry, couldn't resist. I know how much you guys "love" putting out dates, only to have everyone screaming at 1201 AM on that date. Hope to see it up soon though.

Thanks David. Most of us appreciate the efforts the programmers and testers go through to ensure the best possible v1.0 release. No software will ever be perfect, but you guys do a great job on squashing as many bugs as possible before releasing. Very appreciated.

Hi!

I saw Campaigns on the Danube being advertised over at the wargamer.com.

Can we assume it is about to go Gold?

Frank and I found a few minor issues we wanted clear so it will not be until next week... but trust us it will be worth the wait. Frank's done a nice job with the AI... I got my butt kicked last night.

We know it will be worth the wait, but most of us are pretty short on patience...[8|] Thanks for your frank and honest answers w/what's happening. In my book, that goes a long way to keeping folks happy.
