Any Future Plans for CMANO?

Post by DWReese »

To the Devs:

I have owned CMANO, and all of the DLCs and LIVE scenarios from the very beginning. I successfully transitioned over to CMO when that came, and have watched that game become the best on the market.

My question: Is CMANO finished? Is there any point in having it remain on my hard drive? I can't see ever going back to it based on where it was when you stopped updating, and where CMO is now. That being said, do you have any future plans for CMANO? Or, should I just go ahead and uninstall it now? Is there any benefit to still having it? I have the hard drive space, but given CMANO's current state compared to that of CMO, I can't see ever going back to it. So, what, if any, are your future plans for CMANO?

It was announced quite a while ago that CMNAO was sunsetted as a supported and developed product. I removed it a few yeaqrs ago.

There are no plans ATM to further develop CMANO. It had a great run, but it has been succeeded.

There again CMO has a pretty steep learning curve to master or be fully conversant with the game.

Whereas CMANO and for that matter Larry Bonds computer Harpoon are most suitable for Undergraduates. :D

Hey, don't scare off potential players. Both are complex and take a while to learn. But the learning process is a lot of fun if the new player takes it through the tutorials. If a player already knows CMANO basics, I think they will pick up CMO without much issue at all.
