Leaving AOGs empty?

Post by MarkShot »

So, you cannot create or remove AOGs.

However, when you get reserves, your AGs may be part of yet to be on the map AOGs.

You could either move the entire new AOG to the map or just move the AG as part of an existing AOG.

It seems to me there are two issues here:

* Not to exceed the command points of your AOGs. I am not sure what the penalty is, but I am sure there must be one.

* It would seem if you are manually assigning planes to missions that more AOGs allows greater control over assignments as AD's are mutual exclusive when it comes to AOGs.

However, if you do AUTO assignments for ADs to the AIR COMMAND, then the game will work allow maximal ADs to be flown by AOGs.

Which finally, bring us to my question. The decision to use all available AOGs really comes down to how much you plan on micro-managing the air war.

I am manually managing the air war. And I am a little confused. Can anyone suggest best practices?

Thanks.
