[Fixed] Sub Tutorial 3 : Weapon Reload Problem

Post by Chertiozhnik »

The instructions in Sub Tutorial 3 are to reload the submarine's tubes with Sizzler guided missiles, they are currently holding UGST torpedoes. According to the tutorial instructions, just clicking the Reload Priority button for the desired weapon should unload the torpedoes and load the missiles after a couple of minutes.

In fact clicking the button gets a "you have set reload priority for a weapon with no reloads available" pop-up error message and nothing happens, the torpedoes stay in the tubes (I have let the game run on to allow time).

For the missiles, the weapons display shows 0/1 available, which I assume means there is 0 missile in the tube and 1 available for reload. The torpedo shows 1/1, presumably 1 in the tube out of 1 available. The Unit Weapons list on the right hand display does not show any missiles, just the torpedoes.

Am I not understanding how to switch weapons in the tubes, or is there some glitch in the scenario (weapons not properly set up) or the game logic (cannot load 1 missile using reload priority if there is only 1 and no reloads)?

This has already been fixed. It'll be included in a future patch but I'm also attaching it to this post. You can replace the current file with this one.
