The European Axis see by the most recent Soviet troop movements that they intend to simply use our Neutrality pact as cover to prepare for War. Thus, deeming it worthless, Germany declares the breaking of this pact.

Believing it the intention of the Soviets to attack in the West, Germany and Italy will both declare a preventative "Special Militay Opertation" Codenamed Barbarossa on the USSR and it's allies Lithuania and Latvia.

In Solidarity with this move Finland will join the special military operation against Soviet Aggression.

Could the Swedish Empires please conduct the US Entry rolls, set up their Reserves and send the file through at set up of Finnish forces.

USA declares its understanding for the need of solving the issues they have with the USSR. Soviet aggression is a threat to the free world. So why would the free world care when the Axis of evil fight between themselves. (10 rolled, no US chit picked)

However, attacking the free democracies Lithuania and Latvia is a crime against the free, and democratic world, and must not go without protests. (2, and 9. rolled, 1 chit drawn)

Lithuania, and Latvia, both seeks protection from the USSR and aligns with them. The CP is placed in Riga, and will flee to Leningrad if the opportunity to do so arise.

After a long delay, due to work and family comitments, this game will now start going forward over this weekend.....

The state of the game as I see it is simple ... while not yet beaten the Rebel Axis will need a strong showing across the summers of 41 & 42

Very competent Allied play has taken advantage of favour from the dice gods and set the Swedish Empires in a strong position. With such an early passing of War Appropriations the USA Green Machine will be a monster by late game... the clock is ticking....

Glad to see this game continue. I have a certain (morbid?) curiosity to see what the effect of a J/F War Appropriations is.
I thought I knew how to play this game....

If only the 0 box is chosen, then due to surprise both sides will have No effect on each other.

So the real question to the Allies might be, will they stay for round 2 searches?

Krasnyi Kavkaz realize that they need real ammunition to properly respond, head back to port to re-supply. Rostov next.
