Ending a mission

Post by coolts »

Daft question from returning player.

I'm on the first mission of the chains of war dlc, blue dawn. A 9 hr mission to destroy artillery and missile launchers.

All destroyed. Now what? Do I have to wait for time limit to expire or trigger something or just quit the scenario?

Go to the game drop-down and scoring dialog. There is an end scenario button at the bottom.

Do i do that each mission after i complete the objectives? I assumed the scenario would end on its own. Do missions not end till the timer runs out?

It's possible to create a little bit of LUA code to end the scenario when the objectives are satisfied. Few scenarios seem to take advantage of that feature.

Cheers guys. Been playing this on and off for 10 years and never completed a scenario yet!! It's time to break that duck if i have to watch the clock click down to zero.

Ending a scenario right when you complete objectives is not necessarily good, because you could still have assets on the field destroyed (e.g., after a bombing run).
