Cruise Missiles' ability to alter altitude during flight

Post by CaptainStephanie »

Hey guys,

Currently cruise missiles like LRASM would drop to its cruise altitude (30ft, 9.1m) shortly after being launched from B-1B, which I think is not what it should be in real world.

Cruise missiles should cruise at different altitudes during different periods of the whole flight.

I tried to use LUA to change the course, but it seems the system is not taking altitude parameter into consideration (latitude and longitude are working fine by the way).

Is is possible to fix that (if the dev team also evaluate this as a problem)?

Different opinions are welcome~~ :D

You are effectively asking for a cruise missile route-planning tool.

Is your org willing to fund development for it? Please contact us through the pro portal to discuss. Thanks!
