Is there any way to slow done the game once you hit start after you submit your battle plan? Seems to move a lighting speed during the battle phase LOL.

There is an option in the User Prefs for Default Game Delay Factor. Increase it until you are happy with the time during resolution.

I still feel a bit slow even if I set it to 0. Are there any plans to provide other options to speed up the game in the future?
Since the player can not do anything during the round analysis, why not make a menu similar to the player, so you can skipping the battle resolution you do not want to see like dragging a progress bar .

There is no means to skip anything in the resolution phase as things are being calculated and resolved at that point.
