82mm Mortars, Tank Killers

Ive began playing a few scenarios with tanks. M48's...it is absolutely phenomenal the number of kills via NVA Mortars, 82 mm mortars to be exact...with a hard kill max of 2, 6 hexes or below, I dont see how this is possible.

That's interesting, I haven't seen that at all.

My M113's don't seem to fair that well to artillery/mortar fire, but usually my Patton's are unscathed with the odd disable.

Yea , its strange, with 113 sure, but tanks, I have lost beaucoup, in one instant a barrage of 4 hits form a 3 gun battery of 82's took out 2 tanks...this sint the first time Ive noticed this...

I'll have to keep a closer eye on this.

I've lost Patton's in my A Week in Binh Long campaign, but all of them has either been to an RPG or an assault.
