58, 55 Bessarabia is Next

GER choice will make it a 6-1B with +1 so will be B result, roll will dtermine if RU unit survives or not

I will note first though that the game is only giving +1 when it has both an ARM and HQ-A in the attack, I have reread the Optional and see that this is correct, it is a +1 for each 2 pieces of ARM or MECH, I had it wrong in planning up until now  .........

You are indeed correct on the rule. However, Steve decided that each ARM should give +0,5 so that two ARM gives +1, but that means that only one ARM in the attack gives +0.5 and MWIF then rounds that up to +1.

Note that ARM divs gets +0,25. And that rivers halves the bonus.

So I suspect that you didn't have it wrong in the planning. And I have no idea why it didn't work this way in this attack.

48, 47 will be next

Again is GER choice making it a 6-1B +1

There is a 40% chance Fractional Odd will shift to Automatic 7-1B

Success on a roll of 25, hence I will not use the roller for the combat roll

HQ-A Blitz through the captured hex to 48, 48

Next up is Lvov

Will be USSR Choice, I see no reason for a Blitz

Current odds are 7-1 but 60% chance of a Fractional Odds Shift to 10-1 Auto

Brest-Litovsk is Next

Again no reason for Blitz and this time Fractional roll will not shift the results from a 7-1

Hence, I will only use the Roller for the Attack Roll ....

1 Rolled, an Attack that probably didn't need to be made was poorly executed and MIL destroyed and the remainder Disorganized

That leaves the PARA and Invading DIV in 57, 56 which will be 5-1 with a +2

USSR Choice, no reason for a Blitz, No Fractional

Attack roll is a 1, again poorly executed, but the hex falls and nobody is lost, just Disorganized
