I should have enough supply for one or two more DAs. I will have to see what happens down the road.
The other thing is that if I can continue to eliminate the guns there, I can at some point escort the LSTs with

Thank you, I thought I might not do as well since last turn weather kept all flights grounded and the TFs were spotted.
I thought things went quite well with enough sweeps to eliminate most of his cap before my two main bombing attacks.
All of the DBs were set to hit the airfield and the TB were set to hit the port. I think there are more sunk ships than the
tracker screen shot shows.

Not much happened to day. I lost a sub off of the Pescadores, she fired 2 torpedoes at an E boat, missed, and took a pounding and sank.

Well, I did something stupid, I let my AEs and AKEs run out of supply at Ponape. So my naval bombardments were not very impressive.
without full ammo loads things just do not get blown up.

It will take two turns to rectify the issue.

Well-executed raid on Guam. You cleaned out the harbor.

Do you have many of those rocket- and mortar-equipped LCIs yet? Some players have gotten good results from having those in amphibious TFs. Something to think about if you have to do another supply run to Truk.

Wow!!!

Today, almost 69 years later, Guam is considered the best ship wreck diving destination in the world. The prize is the Sub tender Jingei, settling at the bottom of Apra Harbor with the bow resting at 100 feet and the stern at 80 ft with only a 18 degree list. Tanikaze tried to beach herself after being hit but went down at 50 feet, a popular dive site for novice divers. 2/3rd's of these ships are at less than 110 feet deep and thus accessible to your average recreational diver. This is one of the reasons that Apra Harbor is so popular for divers.

Guam does sound like good diving, but there are something like 36 wrecks in Truk Lagoon and I dove 11 of them back on a five-day "live aboard" trip in 1998. I went as low as about 110 ft., some others went to 140 (which meant fairly long rests on the way up). The AS there was great, what with numerous torpedoes and spare periscopes. One vessel, possibly an AKE, had a bunch of 18.1 in. shells. Anyway, there were plenty of sake and beer bottles, MG rounds and even tanks like the one in my picture to interest anyone. The IJ apparently kept its servicemen well boozed.
