Copy Protection Fix Question

I have KP installed both at home and at work. I am playing a PBEM game at work (during lunch of course, wink, wink). I forgot my disk at home and would like to take my turn. A co-worker also has KP but when I put his disk in I get the font error which requires the "copy protection" patch. If I install this patch will it screw up my game for when I bring my own disk in tomorrow?

I would not have thought that using a different CD would cause any problems. What is the "Font Error" that you describe?

In any event, the copy protection fix replaces the executable only, so should not cause any problems with secure games you are playing at the moment.

If you are still nervous, just wait till you finish your current game, then install the patch, or if you are at the beginning of your game, let your opponent know you are doing this.
