Allies win initiative, no reroll is possible.
Allied Impulse #1
Weather is SN/ST/R/ST/ST/ST
France and China take a Land, the CW and USA take Naval, and the USSR takes a combined action.
Russia moves a couple of SUBs into the China Sea. The CW and USA move to reinforce various sea zones to defend CPs and prepare invasions... notable, invasion forces are in the Bismarck and Coral Sea zones.
Largely due to the poor weather, no naval activations were successful except in the West Med where Italy succeeded in using surprise points to avoid combat.
No Strategic Bombing is done nor are there any GS.
No rail moves are done. France moves forward units in Southern France to gain more territory. China moves some units forward. Russia moves to take a couple of cities in Poland.
There are no land combats declared.
The CW moves some very strong FTRs to Paris. The USA lands a CVP on a CV at Port Vila along with 2 FTRs. The USSR moves some FTRs into Polish cities recently taken.
The USA uses Nimitz to reorganize a BB and 2 CAs in Port Vila.

Axis Impulse #3
Italy takes a Naval, Germany takes a Land, Japan takes a Naval.
Italy moves its fleet into the West Med and a CL in the 3 box back to port. A CL moving from Albania is successfully intercepted, but elects not to fight through. Japan moves naval units out of Truk and Rabaul as the supply in those ports is very tenuous. They are outgunned in both the Bismarck and Marianas, but at least they can abort to a safe and supplied port.
The USA spots Axis ships in the Bismarck Sea and elects combat with 5 surprise points. 4 are used to decrease damage to their ships. A USA BB is aborted while a Japanese BB is damaged. In a 2nd round, both sides find once more (no screen shot) with no surprise. A US BB is sunk and a CA damaged. 1 Japanese SUB is destroyed while a SUB, a CA and a BB are aborted. In a 3rd round (no screen shot again), again combat occurs with the Japanese finding... a US CV is damaged while a CA loaded with an INF Div is aborted. Both Japanese BBs are aborted. A no more combat occurs, the whole thing ends up something of a Pyrrhic victory for the Japanese as Rabaul is again out of supply.
No other Naval Activations were successful during the impulse.
Rail moves were conducted into northern Italy to release some units to remake supply lines to through liberated hexes to the front.
Germany rebases some A/C to each front while Japan moves FTR out of endangered ports such as Truk and Rabaul. Japan uses a couple of TRS/AMPH to reorganize 2 naval units, a TRS and a CA.

Allied Impulse #5
Weather is much better with a 2 giving F everywhere except for Rain in the Northern Monsoon.
CW/China/France take Land Actions while the USA/USSR take super-combineds.
No port attacks are undertaken. For Naval Air, the USA puts out a couple of FTRs into the Pacific... Marianas and Bismarck Seas.
The USSR moves a SUB into the Baltic and its Black Sea Fleet out to Sea. The USA reinforces the Marianas and Bismarck Seas and picks up some invaders in the Italian Coast on some AMPHs.
Both sides find in the West Med with Italy getting 2 surprise. The CW chooses a naval air. Italy increases AA. An Italian CA is aborted. A second round is another successful search by both sides with 2 surprise for the Allies which are used to nullify any AAA. An Italian BB is aborted and a CL damaged (and will never return...). As the Axis have been driven from the sea, no more combat occurs here.
In the Black Sea, the Russian fleet finds the lone Rumanian CP and sinks it (not bothering with a screenie).
In the Baltic, both sides find... as the Germans brought in their Condor, this is bad news for the Russian SUB. It is damaged (and will likely end up in Vlad). No screen shot for this one either.
No other Naval Activations saw any action.

No Strat Bombing is undertaken.
Ground strikes are done by the CW and USA on Rabaul. In France, the USA and France ground strike a couple of vulnerable hexes plus along the front lines in a few places. As well, hex along the coast in Italy is given a bit of attention. The USSR works on some hexes near Poznan and NE Hungary.
Germany does some interceptions in France. Air combat occurs over 3 hexes. SE of Lille, all allied bombers are cleared after the German FTR aborts. One hex further SE, a German FTR is destroyed, clearing all allied LND. Finally, NE of Vichy, all LND clear when the German aborts from the 2nd round.
In Poland, Russia disrupts 2 units. A Germany ARM unit in NE Hungary is flipped as is Guderian in the forest next to it. Also, 3 Units are disorganized in Calais. SE of Lille, all units are similarly disrupted as are the 3 the next hex over. Also, 2 of 3 units are flipped NE of Vichy. Further, 2 units in Southern France are also disorganized. There is no rail movement done except the CW moves a unit adjacent to Burma from Calcutta and another to Calcutta from Bombay. Land movements are numerous with the USA and CW shuffling units forward in France and Italy, while France creeps forward in the South and moves Partisans around Oslo. Russia filters forward to set up some strong attacks on its front with Germany. As well, the Communists look to make an attack in the north while the Nationalists do so as well.
Units are disembarked by the USA and CW surrounding Rabaul. An invasion is set for just north of Ancona Italy, in the mountains there.
A CW ATR moves to drop an American Para near Vichy with a pair of escorts. Russia looks at dropping a PARA div on Guderian. Neither drop is intercepted.
Shore bombardment is added to Calais in France, East of Florence in Italy and to Rabaul.
Hodges adds HQ support against Rabaul.
Ground support is added to all hexes to be attacked. Germany adds its own ground support and escorts in a couple of areas. Japan counters over some land hexes in China.
China send attack interceptors near Ichang. The USA counters over a nex NE of Vichy. Russia counters over a hex NE of Poznan.
Over Poznan, each side loses a FTR while 1 Russian LND is cleared to 3 German that get through. NE of Vichy, with 3 FTR destroyed and 2 Germany LND cleared to 2 of their own, the USA aborts the combat. Near Ichang, the Chinese lose a LND and FTR with 1 LND cleared while the Japanese LND is destroyed.

Axis Impulse #6
All Axis MPs take a Land Action.
No actions occur until GS phase. Germany tries an ART GS against a stack East of Paris. It is a miserable failure.
Japan/Germany and Italy all try to repair fractured lines. For Japan, this entails a significant pull back of forces in China. Italy puts a HQ in teh front lines in Italy. Germany's Southern front in France is pulled back and set back into supply, of a sort. The South East Europe is a mess and units are trying to regroup and recover, but it does not look good. An orderly retreat is becoming more and more problematic, especially with the loss of Guderian.
Japan rebases some A/C to easier to supply areas in the Pacific, closer to the Philipines. Germany rebases A/C to better positions in Hungary and France.
A Germany ATR partially reorganizes a FTR.
HQ in Hungary and Belgium reorganize some units.
The Impulse ends and the turn continues...

Weather is Fine everywhere except the North Monsoon area.
USA, China, USSR, and France take Lands while the CW takes a Combined.
The CW and USA move FTRs into the 3 and 4 boxes of the Marianas.
The CW moves more BBs into the North Sea.
The CW activates in the Marianas and calls a Naval Air with 8 Surprise. After air combat (which Japan chooses to abort from), 3 Japanese bombers are cleared and a CVP is destroyed while all 3 CVP bombers are cleared for the Allies and a FTR is aborted. AAA is decreased 1 level by the Allies and leading to reduction of 4 factors. The Japanese suffer the loss of a CVP due to AA and another factor... 1 of their survivors is a kamikaze. A Japanese CV is sunk and another damaged as well as a BB being damaged. An American CV is damaged while another is aborted. No one finds for a 2nd round.
In the Italian Coast, the Allied forces find the lone Italian CL. It is destroyed. A CW CL is aborted.
Russia attempts ART GS on a hex SE of Poznan as well as air strikes NE of Katowice and a couple of hexes NE of Budapest. The CW sends FTR-Bombers against a MECH stack along the Belgium border while the Americans look at strafing Rommel and units stacked with him on the German front lines in France. The French, with American help, also hit an isolated Toulouse.
The Germans intercept the Ground Strikes along the Belgium Border. They are countered. Combat sees both FTR-bombers cleared while a German FTR is destroyed and another aborted. Over Rommel, the Allied bomber is cleared with no other effects except the FTRs left all abort.
A Russian strike SE of Poznan hits both units there. 1 of 2 units NE of Katowice is disrupted. A German ARM near Budapest is also flipped. A CW GS East of Calais fails. All units in the isolated MECH stack along the Belgium border are flipped. Rommel and an ART with him are both dirupted while a GAR remains active. As well, 2 of 3 units SW of Vichy are also turned over. Finally, the isolated unit in Toulouse is flipped.
Russia rails Rokossovsky to Blgovyeshchenk north of Manchuria.
The CW and USA maneuver units in France to optimize attacks. France creeps forward in the south and puts some German units OOS in Marseilles and nearby. Also, Toulouse is surrounded. Russia moves forward, forcing a Rumanian destroyer flotilla to rebase and be subsequently intercepted. It is destroyed while 1 Russian CL is aborted. Otherwise, there is a general movement forward along all fronts, including the Communist Chinese.
Russia declares attacks SE of Poznan and NE of Katowice as well as in NE Hungary and NE of Sofia in Bulgaria. The CW declares on a hex west of Antwerp with an American MECH div joining in. The USA declares on a flipped stack adjacent to the Belgium border and on a stack SE of Vichy. France attacks Toulouse. Shore bombardment is added near Antwerp. Von Leeb adds HQ defense to the stack near Katowice.
Ground support is added to several attacks and air combat occurs over some hexes. NE of Katowice, each side loses a FTR while 2 Russian units are cleared to 1 German.

Re: Solo AAR for Global War
May/June 1945 Con't
Axis Impulse #8
All pass except for Germany, which takes a Land Action.
A couple of units are railed to the front with Russia. Germany pulls back on the front with Russia to maximize unit density along that front. Similarly, it resets the various lines in France.
An attack is declared against a partisan in Hungary. The attack is automatically successful.
Rebases are done to put A/C in danger of being oos into better positions.
The turn ends on a 1<3.
