Command v1.05.1307.9 - Update Available Now

Post by SamSlitherine »

Hi Everyone,

Version 1.05.1307.9 has been made live on Matrix and Steam.

Please download the patch from the game launcher via the check for update button, the mypage/members area, Command's product page download area, or the following download https://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/Command ... 1307.9.zip

Build 1307.9 Release Notes (changes from B1307.8)
=======================================================

* The new "Sensors blocked by skyline at sensor location and along the LOS path to the target" feature (introduced in B1307.6) has now been isolated into its own separate "Effects of Terrain Type - ADVANCED" scenario realism option. This option is disabled by default, and should NOT be used unless you know what you are doing.
This was done in order to avoid breaking most scenarios where e.g. radars are placed in the middle of forests or urban sprawls without blockage considerations (Recent example: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 6#p5084166).

* FIXED: Severe performance issue when checking if a specific table column exists on the database.

I keep getting 'version too low' warning. I am running 1307.9. Is there a way to get your system to realize that I am running an acceptable version to enable an update?

Hi Joey,

Have you updated to that version using the official installers or the file drops made by Dimitris on the forums?

If you have not used the remaster installer it is pointing you towards during the installer process, i highly recommend you do. Until then you will get this error message every time moving forward..

This installer is needed to ensure you have the correct files and file structure after the warplanner update.

Sam,

I have a question about game files.

With Build 1307.5, BOMBING worked splendidly. Starting with BETA version 1307.6 through Build 1307.9, BOMBING has been sort of wonky. With each BETA release by Dimitris it was apparent that the BOMBING issues had not been addressed. As a remedy, I could always replace the latest build exe file with the command file from 1307.5 and the BOMBING would work properly again.

Now you have released a new UPDATE. I'd like to know that after installing this OFFICIAL UPDATE, and if the BOMBING is still an issue, will I again be able to merely swap out 1307.9 exe file for 1307.5 exe file to get the BOMBING to work again? Or, is there something within the new arrangement of files that would no longer allow me to be able to use 1307.5 IF I did do the upgrade?

Thanks in advance.
