The best part about an electronic drum set is it's only as loud or quiet as I set the volume on my stereo amplifier, or completely quiet (except for the bass drum pedal hitting it's pad) while I listen with my headphones.

Ever since I read that getting vitamin D every day boosts the body's immune system, I have been taking a dose (1000 IU) every day. Since then I have had no really nasty illnesses - a few days when I felt fatigued or needed to put on a sweater, but nothing much more (touch wood). It takes a few weeks for your system to build up so it likely wouldn't help you right now, but it could help keep the cold from coming back strong. Get well soon GP.

Vitamin D, vitamin C AND Zinc! When you start feeling ill, maybe a glass of red wine heated up with some lemon juice added.

Of course, drink a litre of Jack Daniels and no cold will bother you! :twisted:
