Anyway we can have Italy just focus on building the SM.82s ?

The player does not control production.

I'll take the one on the left, thank you.

Bad choice.

Overall, he's terrible. Range height, reliability. Italian wins.

Due to the greater range, it can operate and carry cargo more often, or using more rear warehouses. Reliability will allow not to incur high losses from operation.

We can agree to disagree. In any case I believe the point is moot as I'm not sure that you can get those Italian aircraft onto the map.

Yep. Any non-German transport planes are useless. They don’t contribute to TB CV and you can’t get them onto map

While it's true that they don't contribute to TB CV, DarkHorse2's original screenshot tells you all you need to know about bringing them on map. I ran a quick test with a fresh GC41 and confirmed that he was correct:

You're on the ball. I ran a test after getting them onto the map and it's not much of a contest.

Range 10
Me 323 2 sorties 1,211 tons
Ca-82 4 sorties 763 tons

The range height factor(s) aren't terribly relevant and Me-323 although production does not start until 9/41, they outproduce the Ca-82 4:2. And practically speaking you can have 3 groups of 48 Me323s flying in the summer of 1942.

Are you guys playing the same game? How else do you think I got that screen shot?

Of course you can get them on the map and use them... silly guys.

I've created my own custom scenarios playing against the AI, NOT human opponents, made my own tanks-infantry-fighter planes-reconnaissance plans- transport planes-bombers-generals-units and ALSO created their factories so that replacements get produced. It's all do-able :-)

You can use them in a regular game once you have the Italian AOGs on T8 & have enabled "Enhanced Player TB Control".

No need to edit the scenario. :o
