Edit GAM file to move one army

Post by juntoalmar »

Hi,

I know some people have edited GAM files in the past to fix some bugs in the game.

I'm playing with a friend and he realised during my impulse that he made a mistake moving an army (he made some tests while moving the armies in China and forgot to undo this movement). We agreed he will move the army during the next turn (it disorganised during the movementet), but it is blocking my advance during the remain of the turn.

Is there a simple way of editing the GAM file to move one army/counter from one hexe to another one?

I hope this doesn't open the Pandora's box (either in my game or in anybody elses).

Thanks in advance!

ok, I found it. There's a PDF manual that explains how to do it, and it's quite simple.

Thanks whoever wrote it! (I found the PDF in my HDD, but I don't have the link to the original post)
