Well you don't get tornadoes in blizzards, so that is kind of life-affirming right now...

Don't be so sure, maybe the visibility is so low that no one sees the tornado!

But if you look at that link for the weather, you should be glad that none of it is going into Canada according to their maps!

Having seen the scientists back up the report, I concede they are possible but continue to believe they will not happen to any of us!

Well, one nice thing about blizzards and snow storms, you can move the excess water rather easily unlike rainstorms and floods! You can even have 12+ feet or 4 meter snowbanks alongside the streets with no problem. Plus, no massive hatches of mosquitoes after a blizzard!
