Missing LMGs...

While the following is not presented to be an exact account, there appears to be a number of LMGs that are missing from the German TOEs.

In WiTE2, LMGs are not directly included. But instead, are contained within the inf-like squad elements, such as:

Rifle Squad
Pioneer Squad
Cavalry Squad
Bicycle Squad
(there are some others too, but not immediately relevant here...)

However, this does not include the LMGs that are contained within the artillery, anti-tank or the Recon HQ.

Note: Askey considers the H Rifle Sqd and Eng Sqd to contain 1 organic LMG, each. As a result, those LMGs are not included in his division totals.

There was a deliberate design decision not to include self defense LMGs in OBs. If we added them, they would get thrown into every single combat action and these LMGs were used for emergency defensive purposes only.

These do appear to be AA LMGs.
