Murmansk + Gibraltar

Post by baronvonmunchausen »

Murmansk.
(Sorry for reposting, I' not sure people understood my previous post). If Murmansk is in Russian hands, and the Axis cut of rail supply in the penninsula but do not have Archangel, is Supply recruited to Archangel (except in winter of course)?

Gibraltar
As a German, I have conquered Spain and Gibraltar this turn. The very next turn my human oopoennet swears he has sailed fro Med to Atlantic. Is my opponent a) not telling the truth b) telling the truth because on the turn of conquest, the Allies can still sail through c) to broke Gibraltar straits requires some other action that I am not aware of.

Could be option #3, the Port facing Atlantic is reduced to 0, thus Allies could have escaped. Easy enough to do with Battleships and/or Carrier.

You'll find out soon enough, since the MedSea is you're new personal Axis swimming, check for sharks.

I believe so - yes.

And as EJR notes, if the Gib port is strength zero - any units can freely sail through the Straits.

Ah, that explains it! So once Gibraltar port is back up to 5, the Med will be locked.

Murmansk: Thank you for clearing this up.
