The allies liberated Paris (France) on December '44 and the Finish expedition forces of '40 returned! Furthermore, the Fr Special Forces unit appeared at Scotland.

I guess something must be fixed here, 'though it has no effect on gameplay.

Did France fall really early in this game, i.e. before 25th April 1940?

Yes, France surrendered on Apr.12/1940.

Ok that is why. There's no way to prevent this from possibly happening then... or at least no good way that could avoid risking a different, albeit probably equally unlikely, problem to occur.

Thanks for mentioning it though.
